Starting today, you can enjoy a couple extra hours of skiing at Buttermilk Mountain.
The Aspen Skiing Co. is launching a "sunset skiing" program, keeping one chairlift open for extended hours one day a week through the end of the snow season.
The Summit Express chair at Buttermilk will remain open until 6 today. That allows the terrain park to remain open, and the Cliffhouse restaurant will host a St. Patty's party until 6 p.m.
You can ski and ride the extra hours using a season pass, a day ticket or a half-day ticket.
"Late arrival" lift tickets will be sold for $44 starting at 2:30 p.m. on sunset skiing days.
