Vonn escapes serious injury after crash in Austria

Ski racer and Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, of Vail, had a spectacular crash Wednesday while training in giant slalom at Hintereit, Austria, reports the Denver Post.

"I hit my head pretty hard and had to go to the hospital to get a CT scan," Vonn said in a Facebook post. "Luckily the scan showed no major injuries!"
