If you're the type of person who is interested only in things you can use while putting your life in danger, the Consumer Electronics Show has stuff for you, writes the LA Times.
Not just rocket-powered 3D TVs or bulletproof tablet PCs (though Las Vegas would be the place to find those). I'm talking about Liquid Image's Impact Series HD and Summit Series HD video goggles.
