If the folks at NORAD are tracking Santa, they must be zeroed in on Winter Park. With as much snow as the high country received this week, why would he be anywhere else?

The resort will have a torchlight parade and fireworks at 5:30 p.m. today. Snowcats and more than 100 torch-bearing skiers will take part in the festivities.
Winter Park is predicting packed powder conditions on a 47-inch mid-mountain base for those planning to ride Saturday. More than 2,400 acres of terrain are open.
