A skier was seriously injured in a collision at Eldora Ski Resort Wednesday and airlifted to St. Anthony Central Hospital.

The skier, a 24-year-old Longmont man, collided with a 22-year-old female skier from South Korea around 3:30 p.m., Boulder County Sheriff's Deputy Rik Henrikson said. The collision occurred on the International Run, which is an intermediate run.

The woman was also injured and was taken to Boulder Community Hospital.

Henrikson said it isn't known whether the man's injuries are life-threatening, but they required "immediate intervention."
