CRESTED BUTTE – A seemingly endless winter storm cycle has stalled over Crested Butte, dumping 37 inches of fresh powder over the past 7 days on primed slopes at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.

The resort received nearly a foot overnight and snow continues to fall as the Christmas holiday approaches. Santa has been spotted sampling CBMR’s trails and this year’s biggest and best gift will be white. Fittingly, The Weather Channel has named Crested Butte one of the “top five snowiest cities in America.”
