2 great new ski deals!

That's Steamboat earlier this season, above, before the resort even opened.

Copper Mountain's new ski pass is all about the pow.

Copper just announced a new $99 Snow Day Pass that offers unrestricted lift access any day it snows at least 4 inches.

Copper Mountain spokesman David Roth says the resort has had 9 days so far this season with that much new snow.  On Nov. 17, Copper reported 14 inches of fresh powder.

The pass also offers free skiing on Super Bowl Sunday and April 15 (tax day!), no matter the weather.

Deal #2:  Steamboat Springs and Winter Park are selling a pass good for 2 visits during the season at each ski resort for $199.  Single-day walk-up tix at Winter Park are $87.  Single-day, walk-ups at Steamboat soon will be $97.

This season's La Nina weather bodes well for taking advantage of the Copper deal.  And the other package gives you a GREAT excuse to get on up to Steamboat!
