Catch some freshies (70% chance of snow today) and watch rulers of the halfpipe at Copper Mountain today and Saturday as snow hits the high country and the resort holds the U.S. Halfpipe Grand Prix.
For the first time in the series, skiers will join snowboarders in the pipe.
The International Olympic Committee is considering adding halfpipe skiing to medal competition at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
Here are a few of the riders and skiers you can expect to see:
Skiers: Mike Riddle, Simon Dumont, Torin Yater-Wallace, Patrick Baskins (Riddle nailed a double-flip 1200 in his top qualifying run, reports the Denver Post)
Snowboarders: Louie Vito, Greg Bretz, Scotty Lago and Kelly Clark
Friday: Men's and women's ski halfpipe finals
Saturday: Men's and women's snowboard halfpipe finals
