You can always rent skis and boards to see if you like 'em before you shell out the Benjy's.
OR, you can SPEND NOTHING and scout around for a ski area Demo Day.
Such as THIS WEEKEND at Winter Park.
It's the annual Ski, Snowboard & Snowshoe Demofest. Head over to the base of Winter Park's Zephyr Express lift between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and you can check out new equipment for 1 hour. For FREE.
You have to be 18 or older with a valid driver's license of be 17 0r younger and have a parent's consent.
Me? I've only ever ridden Burton boards (I have a Burton Feelgood from 2008 right now), so I'm interested in trying something else out this year. Any suggestions? Comment below!
