Wolf Creek avalanche victim appears to be staff member

Wolf Creek ski patrollers and local authorities are responding to an avalanche fatality at the southern Colorado ski area. Early reports indicate a ski patroller might have died in the in-bounds avalanche.

Shortly after 11 a.m., the ski area announced it had closed for the day "due to the fatality of a staff member."
