Breckenridge debuts Gold Runner Coaster

On Friday, Breckenridge opened for another season of snow riding.

And while the focus of the resort still remains skiers and boarders, a new kind of thrill ride made its debut. Unlike anything else in Summit County, the Gold Runner Coaster is sure to provide a rush for customers.

Check out a photo gallery from The Gazette's Christian Murdock.

The coaster, located at the base of Peak 8, runs every day from noon to 4:30 p.m. One ride is $15 for ages 8 and older and $7 for ages 7 and under. All-day passes are $49 (8 and older) and $24 (7 and under). Season pass holders can add a winter season on the coaster for $69 (8 and older) and $49 (7 and under).

Here's a video from Christian!
