More on barefoot running

Here's another story about runners who are shunning shoes in training and in races.

This NYTimes piece is a lead-up to the NYC Marathon.  It talks to runners who are going barefoot or wearing minimal shoes - and why.

Here's a story on barefoot running The Gazette's Dave Philipps did recently.

I'm kinda irked that one podiatrist tells the NYT he's seen about 6 people whose problems he attributes to barefoot running, but doesn't mention how many people who are running in traditional running shoes come to him with problems.  Doesn't really help me unless it's put into perspective.

Here's a Q&A from the Denver Post that talks about barefoot running.

Here's a post from OutThereColorado member Tim T.  He wonders if you've tried running in wrestling shoes.
