Barefoot running

Barefoot running??

I have heard all the hype about it and read many stories about it.  I have heard about flats.  Looked into Vibrams and even see that NB is coming out with a shoe called the minimus.

I have been lately trying to walk the way I should with regular shoes and it is really tough since the heal in most shoes is thick.  I have noticed that the calve muscles feel different and probably from walking different.  The bad knee even seems to getting better.  Might just in my head.  lol

Just a silly question:  Has anyone tried to use wrestling shoes?

They have flat bottoms and fit the foot quite well.  I remember running in them in my younger days thanks to the coach and never had any problems running in them.  It forced me not to heel strike and use the front part of the foot for the landing.  Let me know what you guys think.
