Loveland says it will open Sunday

Colorado Ski Country USA announced Saturday morning that Loveland Ski Area will start its lifts at 9 a.m. Sunday.

It will be the first ski area opening for the 2010-11 season in North America.

The race has been on, as it usually is, between Loveland and neighboring Arapahoe Basin for opening day credit.
