I've been fascinated by the stories about the Chilean miners and their life for nearly 2 1/2 months underground.
Here's an interesting story about how they appear to have stayed healthy physically and mentally - thanks to assistance from the surface, of course, and by organizing their life as a group and as individuals.
One of the miners is said to have run several miles a day inside the tunnels. Wow, no excuse for me!
