Collegiate Peaks mostly snow free, others aren't

I snapped this shot from the summit of Antero Saturday. The Collegiate Peaks, at least on the southern end, are relatively snow free. The final 400 feet was a non-technical snow climb, but the rest of the mountain was pretty well dry. Brutal winds nearly blew us off the summit though.
To look to the west, though, a lot of the other high peaks are still pretty snowy. Here's a look north at Princeton:
