Looking for a job in the mountains or in an outdoor-related field? These aren't high-paying gigs - and some don't pay at all - but they could be a great way to get a foot in the door or to find out if an outdoors career is right for you.
Vail Resorts is offering opportunities in its Vail Resorts College Program.
Applicants must be at least 18 and enrolled in a college or university, or be a recent college graduate (May or later).
You also must be able to move to and live at Keystone, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Vail or Heavenly, Calif., from December to April.
You'll probably work as an instructor, lift operator, ski patroller, or sell tickets, cook/dish out food, or deal with customers. And you might be able to wrangle internship credit.
Check out the job listing here. Type in job order number 5359868.
