CALHAN - It's not often you drive east looking for a scenic hike.
When you live in Colorado, why would you head away from the mountains? What could possibly catch your eye on the way to Kansas?
Look no further than a picturesque spot tucked away in this small town for your answer.
The Paint Mines is a dream destination for a geology buff. But the trail provided a pleasant surprise for those who attended the weekly OutThereColorado.com hike.
