Take a tour of the Western Slope in September

Celebrate the start of fall by joining in the 17th annual Tour de Vineyards.

This 25-mile ride on Sept. 18 through the vineyards of the Western Slope gives cyclists an opportunity to pass by the area’s wineries and fruit orchards, located in the Grand Valley.

The ride starts and finishes at Peach Bowl Park in Palisade, just 1 mile from the Festival grounds with shuttles available. Participants receive a T-shirt featuring the traditional artwork of Buffalo Kaplinski, a pasta salad brunch with Enstrom candy and the Carlson Vineyard aid station featuring Talbott peaches.

Female cyclists make up more than 60 percent of the tour's participants.
