Colorado still least obese state

Docs point to our seeming "culture of physical activity" as a reason we have fewer obese residents than any other state in the union.

Here's the shocking beginning of the New York Times story:

Americans are continuing to get fatter and fatter, with obesity rates reaching 30 percent or more in 9 states last year, as opposed to only 3 states in 2007, health officials reported on Tuesday.

30% or more!

Jumping from 3 states to 9 states in 3 years!!

What the heck!?!?

Here's the full story

Yeah, there's always a way to skew numbers, especially when you're looking at BMI.  But I don't think there's that many body-building types down South to shift the stats so drastically.

Let's keep getting off our couches, Coloradans!
