SALIDA - Hundreds of the top riders in the state have descended on this mountain town this weekend for a three-day cycling festival.
The Salida Omnium, consisting of a time trial, criterium and road race, is part of the Rocky Mountain State Games.
After rain and lightning wreaked havoc on Friday's time trial, Saturday's criterium went off without a hitch.
Check out photos from the criterium.
Most of the categories came down to a sprint finish. In the Women's 1-2 category, Colorado Springs resident Christina Moore finished 11th in the criterium one day after finishing 10th in the time trial.
In the Men's Senior Pro 1-2, Brad Winn of Colorado Springs finished 31st in the criterium. Winn took third in the single speed competition.
Teammates Craig Meese (20th) and Brad Mosier (ninth) of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs resident Chris Beaudin (13th) raced in the Master Men 35+ Category 3 race.
Rhys Rathbun and David Anderson of Monument also took part on Saturday.
