Yampa River (Stagecoach through Steamboat)

Location
Near Steamboat Springs

To get there
Take I-25 north to Denver and the Colorado Highway 470 interchange. Go west on 470 to the I-70 interchange. Go west on I-70 to mile marker 232. Bear right onto U.S. Highway 40 and drive towards Steamboat Springs. When U.S. Highway 40 junctions with Colorado Highway 131, go left on 131. Drive 0.45 mile and go straight onto County Road 14F. Drive 1 mile and look for a dirt road on the right. Drive to the end of this road and park in the lot on the left, then walk to the river edge.
