Dot Biking is holding a Geocaching Challenge to highlight its interactive cycling site.
Download the Dot Biking application (Android and iPhone) and use it to locate and win prizes hidden along the USA Pro Cycling Challenge route.
Boulder-based Dot Biking, part of Dot Us Sports, is a free sports social network that connects players with like-minded biking enthusiasts, according to its website. You track your rides and compete against friends to earn points. (Unlike some programs like mapmyride, we at OutThereColorado have not used this program.)
Follow each stage of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge at OutThereColorado.com. We'll have stories, photos and video each day.
Kind of like Incline Nation, you can see how your pace stacks up against current or previous riders on the same route. You can use the geo-tagging feature to take photos along the way, and swap voice messages with other riders on the trail.
To participate in the Dot Biking Geo-Caching Challenge, download the app at DotBiking.com. You must attend at least one stage to play.
